Book Beginnings: Across the Universe

Daddy said, “Let Mom go first.”
Mom wanted me to go first. I think it was because she was afraid that after they were contained and frozen, I’d walk away, return to life rather than consign myself to that cold, clear box. But Daddy insisted.
Across the Universe by Beth Revis

I’m nearly halfway through this book and it’s AMAZING!! It came highly recommended by Natalie at Coffee and a Book Chick.

Book Beginnings is a weekly meme, hosted by Katy at A Few More Pages.
How to participate: Share the first line (or two) of the book you are currently reading on your blog or in the comments. Include the title and the author so we know what you’re reading. Then, if you feel so moved, let us know what your first impressions were based on that first line, and let us know if you liked or did not like the sentence. The link-up will be at A Few More Pages every Friday.

I’ve bought this and hope to get around to it sometime this spring. The beginning looks good 🙂

I have it from the library, but I’m seriously considering buying it. It’s the first in what is supposed to be a trilogy. It is so good, so I hope you like it as much as I do!

This is an intriguing beginning! I am extremely curious now…

Thanks for participating in Book Beginnings!
