When you write reviews, do you write them as you are reading or wait until you have read the entire book?
(This week’s question comes from Elizabeth who blogs at Silver’s Reviews.)
I usually wait until I have finished reading the book to write a review. On a rare occasion, I will write about what I’m currently reading, especially if the book is long and something really interests me and I want to write about that. I know that I lose details of specific things I liked or disliked when I wait until the end of the book. However, especially if the book is a personal copy, I will note these thoughts in the book and go back and look through it when writing my review.
If I’m reading a book for a bookclub discussion and we have set sections to discuss on certain dates, I will often write a post about each section.
