I haven’t done one of these in a long time. I know Library Loot is supposed to be a weekly thing, but I hardly ever have more than two things out of the library and those are out for a few weeks at a time–what’s the point of posting the same thing for two or three weeks when it hasn’t changed at all.
Today, however, I checked out more books. So I’m finally doing one 🙂
–Wide Sargasso Sea by Jean Rhys
–View from Castle Rock by Alice Munro (for RBC discussion and #2 in Canadian Author Challenge)
–The Year of the Flood by Margaret Atwood (#3 in Canadian Author Challenge)
–James and the Giant Peach by Roald Dahl (checked this out in advance so I can read it on Roald Dahl Day, which is Sept. 13th)
Yes, it’s not much. But I like to be realistic with my checking items out from the library 😛
Library Loot is a weekly event co-hosted by Eva and Marg, but I came across on Bina’s blog, that encourages bloggers to share the books they’ve checked out from the library. If you’d like to participate, just write up your post. And of course check out what other participants are getting from their libraries
