I have just learned some exciting news! Bina, of If You Can Read This, is a member of Rory’s Book Club (as I am) and posted that the Mysterious Benedict Society author, Trenton Lee Stewart, will be writing a prequel to the series. The prequel will be called The Extraordinary Education of Nicholas Benedict and shall be released in Spring 2012. I realize this is a long time to wait, but I will do it 🙂
The novel is to follow Mr. Benedict in his life before he forms his Mysterious Benedict Society. As readers of this series are already aware, Mr. Benedict’s past contains many things and I think this should make a very interesting story. I will love to hear more about Mr. Benedict, as well as Mr. Curtain, another primary character in the series.
